CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & LATE ARRIVALS

Should you cancel within 48 hours prior to your appointment, fail to attend, or overlook your scheduled appointment, a 50% total booking cancellation fee will be applied (equivalent to half of the service you were booked for). We emphasize that no-show appointments and abrupt cancellations significantly impact our operations. This policy is strictly enforced to safeguard our team's employment and ensure we remain a hair home for our clients.

 

Upon booking an appointment with Opia Hair & Beauty, you will promptly receive both a text message and email confirming the details of your appointment. We recommend adding this to your calendar to prevent oversights. Additionally, a reminder SMS will be sent 4 days before your appointment. Kindly confirm by replying with Y or contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel.

 

Not responding to the reminder SMS does not cancel your appointment. Furthermore, late arrivals exceeding 10 minutes may necessitate adjustments to your service, however the originally booked service will be charged.

Contacting Outside of Business Hours

Please note our closure on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. Nevertheless, you can leave a message on our voicemail during these days and after business hours, as we receive these messages via email. You may also reach out through direct messages on Instagram or email at hello@opiahairandbeauty.com.au.

 

During business hours, we kindly request contacting the salon directly, as we are not actively monitoring social media while attending to clients in the salon.

Changes to Booked Services

If you wish to modify your booked services prior to your appointment, please inform us in advance. Failing to provide notice about dropping a service you are booked for will result in a 50% charge of the service's cost being added to your invoice. For example, if you are booked for a colour and cut, but decide that you no longer want the haircut, you will be charged 50% of the haircut. Simply reach out to us 48hrs before your appointment to make any changes to avoid this charge.

Complimentary Adjustment Policy

In the event that you are unsatisfied with your hair post-appointment, kindly reach out to our team within 7 days via phone, email, or Instagram. We are dedicated to ensuring your complete satisfaction and offer complimentary adjustments within this timeframe to guarantee you leave our salon content. While refunds are not issued, we do offer a welcoming and safe environment for you, and pride ourselves on your satisfaction and happiness with your hair being our top priority.

New Clients

We love welcoming new clients, and are excited to work with new hair. We require all new clients to pay a non-refundable $50 booking fee to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from your balance due at your appointment. Your booking fee can be paid in salon or by phone. To make it seamless for colour we do require a consultation form to be completed upon making your booking. This allows us to view your hair, its health, quote your works if required and, aline you with the perfect stylist for your hair type and budget. Let us ensure your hair health is the no.1 priority for us.
